He was a Czech writer primarily known for his humorist novel The Good Soldier Svejk and for his bohemian lifestyle. And yet his extremely interesting and not much known adventure in the revolutionary Russia shows him in a slightly different way. He was considered as the prototype of bohemian
lifestyle and he is said to have written all his works sitting in a pub.
