Sweet foods and desserts
Sweet foods are a specialty of the Czech cuisine. In the summer the dessert menus usually offer dumplings filled with various fruits and foods like žemlovka (grated apples baked with white bread,
cinnamon, and raisins). Needless to say that these are especially popular with children. Other desserts include tarts, stuffed cakes, cookies, as well as apple strudels and many others.
