This coffeehouse was established in 1902 and it is one of the most famous coffeehouses in Prague. There were many famous guests, Albert Einstein, Franz Kafka, or Karel Čapek, who founded here in 1925, with his brother Josef Čapek the writers association
called Pen Club. You can find the coffeehouse on the first floor of an old building in Národní Street. You can have lunch, play billiards, or just enjoy the special atmosphere of the old Austro-Hungarian Empire while drinking your coffee.
