This café is located inside the beautiful Viennese Secession Hotel Pariz, which was built in 1904 and is one of the most splendid edifices of the Art Nouveau era. The story of Bohumil Hrabal’s famous novel “I Served the King
of England” takes place here. Some of the café’s famous customers were for instance the sculptor Josef Vaclav Myslbek and the writer Jaroslav Vrchlicky. The magnificent interior layout is the work of Antonin Pfeiffer.
