Bohuslav Schnirch
The two three-horse carriages dominating the façade of the National Theater are among Schnirch’s most famous sculptures in Prague. He used to collaborate closely with architects, for whom he prepared sculpture decorations in the spirit
of the 19th century Neo-Renaissance style. He successfully took part in the competition to build the St Wenceslas monument on the Wenceslas Square, although his project was rejected in favor of his rival the sculptor Myslbek.
