The beer hall U Černého Vola (black ox) should become a national monument. Its old, preserved interior and splendid Baroque façade with fake windows make it one of the most beautiful and best preserved beer halls in Prague, and in the entire Czech Republic. Most of the patrons are locals
as the prices here are moderate. Rather than food the beer hall is focused on serving beer. They have Kozel and Pilsner on tap. An interesting point is that the restaurant’s profits go to the adjacent institute for the blind! There aren’t many better places to spend a Sunday afternoon.
