Havelský Market
*Havelský Market is the only market left in the centre of old Prague. In the middle ages, it used to be called New Market. In addition to Havelská Street, where stallholders work today, the original market included the parallel Rytířská Street and Uhelný Market.
During
weekdays, the market opens around eight o'clock in the morning. The stalls offer a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. The character of the market changes at weekends when the major part of the merchandise sold consists of souvenirs for tourists.
