Toskánský Palace
* *The early Baroque palace in Hradčanské Square was built around 1690 by renowned architect Jean Baptist Mathey for Count Michal Osvald of Thun. The construction cost so much that the building had to be sold to the Duke family of Toskán after the death of the Count Thun by his inheritors at the
beginning of the 18th century. The palace with two roof gazebos connected by an attic is a masterpiece and is the fruit of Mathey's artistic experience. Also very noteworthy is a Baroque statue of Archangel Michael at the corner of the palace, which is the work of sculptor Otavio Most.
