Auersperg Palace
The Baroque palace was founded at the end of the 18th century connecting several older buildings, the construction of which dates back to medieval times. Under the basement floor, archeological work revealed the remains of a medieval trade shop and a tomb belonging to the cemetery situated near the now gone Romanesque church of St. Ondřej.
The palace was owned by the aristocratic family of Clary-Aldringens. In the middle of the 19th century, the palace was bought by prince Karel Vilém Auersper and he added the last construction improvements in the Classical Revival style.
The palace is currently integrated into a complex of buildings used by the Czech Republic Parliament.
