Bertramka
* *The estate was made famous by composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who, answering the invitation of the Dušeks, stayed here in October 1787 and also at the turn of September and October 1791. At Bertramka, he found not only undisturbed peace for his work, but also friendly support and pleasant liberal companions. His host, opera singer Josefina Dušková, was supposedly even locking up Mozart at
Bertramka so he wouldn´t be disturbed by anybody and could finish writing the last bars of the Don Giovanni opera, which was premiered on October 29th 1787 at The Nostic's Theatre (today's Estates Theatre) in Prague.
Betramka, which acquired its name from one of its first owners Františka and Bertram of Bertram, was built in Baroque style around the year 1700 in place of a former gazebo.
