Industrial Art Museum
Through the acquisition of a part of the Old Jewish Cemetery, the Prague Commerce & Trade Chamber acquired land for the long-planned construction of an Industrial Art Museum. The new building in the Italian Renaissance style was designed by architect
Josef Schulz and built between 1896 and 1899. In addition to the extensive collections of decorative art, there is one of the most beautiful public libraries in Prague. The windows facing to East offers a unique view over the Old Jewish Cemetery.
