Bedřich Smetana Museum
The Neo-Renaissance building from the end of the 19th century by architect Antonín Wiehl stands in place of a former Baroque mill. The depiction of the battle between the Prague people and the Swedish army on the Charles Bridge, by painter
František Ženíšek dominates the rich sgraffito decoration in the spirit of the Czech Renaissance. Other sgraffito paintings were completed based on drawings by Mikoláš Aleš. Today, the building is home to the Bedřich Smetana Museum.
