Even though the "Vojanovy Sady" (Vojan Park) was made accessible to the public only in 1954, its history goes back to the 17th century. It belongs to the oldest parks and gardens in Prague. The park
was originally a fruit orchard. It was turned into an English-style park in the 19th century. After the floods in 2002, the park had to be reconstructed as the water had reached up to four meters.
