Bílá Labuť
The first department store in a modern Functionalist style in Prague was completed just before the World War II. The main facade with its five floors was actually a large window boasting 30 x 18 square meters. The window was constructed of 180 plates of the opaque silver-gray glass
with heat and sound-insulating capabilities. In its times it used to be the largest glazed surface in Central Europe. On the roof of the department store is an eight-meter revolving swan with neon lights, to this day, one should see this important aspect of Prague night skyline.
