On Rašín's embankment right below Vyšehrad stands another masterpiece of Cubist architecture in Prague. This family house was built by architect Josef Chochol between 1912 and 1913. The front of the house is dominated by polygonal oriels featuring
Cubist shapes. From the urban point of view, the house is very sensibly located; the architect made certain the structure would be in harmony with its surroundings and would not prevent the beautiful vista of the Vyšehrad fortress.
