The church of St. Simon and St. Judy was built before 1632 as a part of the hospice of the Merciful Brothers, it was built in place of an older congregation of Czech Brethren. The Protestant property was transferred to the Merciful Brothers after having been confiscated following their defeat at the Battle of the White Mountain in 1620. The church was built
in late Renaissance style; however, many Gothic elements were intentionally incorporated into the construction. At the beginning of the 18th century, the external appearance of the church was radically changed, the church facade was modified into the Baroque Style, side facades and an additional bell tower was added. Today it is used as a concert hall.
