Nusle Bridge
The Nusle Bridge, as opposed to the other bridges in Prague, does not connect the banks of the Vltava River; however, it spans over the deep Nusle Valley. It was built between 1960 and 1974, and it is almost 500 meters long. The bridge has a two-level design with a four-lane highway
on top as well as the tracks of the C line of the Prague metro bellow inside the bridge. The average height of the bridge is 40 meters above the valley explaining the rather high number of suicide attempts. This fact gave the bridge its tragic nickname "The Suicide Bridge".
